Our special person of the week lives in a white house with her Grandpa, her dad, her Grandma, and her three sisters. She has dogs named Maddy, Sleepy, and Squeaky. She has a cat named Hazel. Her favorite color is blue because it is pretty. Her favorite subject is Math because it is fun. Her favorite TV show is ‘Full House’, and her favorite book is Sponge Bob. She likes to eat French fries. She likes to play house. She lives on the same road as the school. She feels happy when she plays with her sisters. When she grows up, she wants to be a Veterinarian because her sister wants to be one. If she could go anywhere in the world, she would go to Florida because her mom is there. She feels the best thing about her is that she is special. She feels she is special because her dad treats her like she is special.
The first, second and third grade classes went to the Northwestern field for a day of track and field events. The children each participated in 3 events, (2 running and 1 field event.) Then each grade level had relays against each other. Everyone had a good time. Lots of running. Lots of ribbons. Lots of good attitudes. And lots of fun!
