Meet Mrs. Myers

Mrs. Myers lives in a one story red brick house with black trim.  The people in her family are her husband Jay; her son Brad, his wife Amy and their daughter Elise; her son Greg and her daughter Stacy.  She has a cat named Muffy.  Mrs. Myers’ favorite color is yellow because it is cheerful and sunny.  Her favorite subject was business class because she learned typing and other skills to work in an office.  Mrs. Myers’ favorite TV show is ‘Dancing With the Stars.’  Her favorite book is the Bible and devotional books.  She likes to read Hardy Boys to her kids.  She likes to eat Supreme Pizza .  Mrs. Myers likes to sew, make crafts, decorate cakes, and do scrap-booking.  She feels happy when she is with her family… especially when they are all together since they live apart.  When she grows up she wants to be a wife, mother and secretary.  If she could go anywhere in the world, Mrs. Myers would go to DisneyWorld and the Beach.  She thinks it would be interesting to go to Scotland because her family is traced to there.  Mrs. Myers feels she is special because she is a child of God who gave her special gifts.  She feels the best thing about her is that she is friendly, caring and likes to help others.  She has two older brothers, can play the piano, used to swim on swim teams, teaches Sunday School, and grew up in Speedway, Indiana, (Indy 500)

Special Person of the Week

Our special person of the week lives with her mom and her brothers in a yellow house.  She has cats named Esther, Joseph, and Malachi.  Her favorite colors are pink and purple because they are pretty.  Her favorite subject is Art because she can make a lot of stuff.  Her favorite TV show is ‘iCarly’ and her favorite book is It is Raining Cupcakes.  She likes to eat eggs and strawberries.  She likes to be creative.  She feels happy when she helps her mommy.  When she grows up, she wants to be an Artist because she creates a lot of stuff.  If she could go anywhere in the world,she would go to Hollywood.   She feels she is special because she cares for people.  She feels the best thing about her is that she is good at Spelling.

     Our special person of the week lives in a house with gray siding and shutters with her dad, her mom, her brother and her sister.  Her favorite color is pink because it is pretty.  Her favorite subjects are P.E. and Art.  Her favorite TV show is ‘iCarly’ and her favorite books are all the chapter books.  She likes to eat cupcakes.  She likes to play the Wii.  She feels happy when she helps her mom.  When she grows up, she wants to be a gymnast because they teach gymnastics.  If she could go anywhere in the world, she would go to Texas.  She feels she is special because she helps people.  She thinks the best thing about her is that she helps her dad.

     Our special person of the week lives in a white house with black trim, 2-story house by the library with his mom, his dad, and his three sisters.  He has a cat named Patches (which is really his Aunt Amanda’s), and Tom who had babies at his old house.  His favorite color is blue because it reminds him of the sky.  His favorite subject is Art because he gets to paint.  His favorite TV show is ‘SpongeBob’ and his favorite book is The Box Car Children.  He likes to eat macaroni and cheese.  He likes to play outside with trucks and sidewalk chalk.  He feels happy when he is with his family and at family gatherings.  When he grows up he wants to be a construction worker because he likes being outside and building things.  If he could go anywhere in the world, he would go to DisneyWorld.  He feels he is special because he is helpful to his mom and dad, and he is friendly.  He feels the best thing about him is that he is a good friend.  He also wants you to know his middle name is the same as his dad’s.

Jr. Olympics

First through third grade children went to the Northwestern track to participate in the Jr. Olympics.  They did the soft ball throw, jump rope, and long jump.  They ran in events such as the 50, 100, 200 and 400 yard dashes.  Our whole class participated in a relay race against Mrs. Dye's class.  We had good attitudes and a lot of fun!

Special Person of the Week

         

       Our special person of the week lives with his mom, his dad, his sister and his brother in a brick house with white siding.  He has a dog named Nikki.  His favorite color is orange because it is the color of Tiger stripes.  His favorite subject is Art because they get to paint.  His favorite  TV show is ‘Bey Blades’, and his favorite book is There’s a Monster at the End of the Book.  He likes to eat Salisbury Steak.   He likes to play video games, play bey blades, play outside, and visit his cousins.  He feels happy when his brother plays with him.  When he grows up, he wants to be an astronaut because he wants to go to the moon to look at the footprints left from other people.  If he could go anywhere in the world,he would go to Disneyland to go on rides and get surprises.  He feels he is special because he is a good brother.  He feels the best thing about him is he is good.

     Our class took a field trip to the Children's Museum in Indianapolis.  We had fun exploring many Science and Social Studies experiences.  What a fun day!

Our special person of the week lives in a brick house with a garage on the side of it with his dad, his mom, his sister and his brother.  He has dogs named Bella and Libby.  His cats’ names are Leo and Oldman.  His favorite color is orange because it is a nice color.  His favorite subject is math because it makes you smarter.  His favorite TV show is ‘Spongebob’ and his favorite book is Fly Guy.  He likes to eat Chicken nuggets.  He likes to jump on a trampoline and do front flips.  He feels happy when he plays video games.   When he grows up he wants to be a scientist because they make potions.  If he could go anywhere in the world, he would go to Hollywood.  He watches TV and eats snacks in his room.   He feels he is special because he is an uncle.  He feels the best thing about him is that he is a nice kid.
