The first grade classes took a fieldtrip to the Indianapolis Children's Museum. We learned many fun and interesting things while there. We also saw exhibits about Dinosaurs, Polar Bears, and Ruby Bridges. (We had studied about all of these earlier in the year.) We rode a carousel, saw a real train, explored the Science Works, and sat in a real race car from the Indy 500. We all wore shirts with Howard Hornets on them so we were easily identifiable. We had a great time!
