We celebrated the 100th day of school with activities all about the number 100. First, we made a hat with the number 100 on it. We watched a puppet show that was specially written with jokes and information all about the number 100. We danced to a number rap song that counted to 100, using a different motion every 10 numbers. Then we went back to our room for learning centers. We continued writing to 1000, we counted out 10 pieces each of 10 snacks, made something with 100 Lego pieces, we looked for 100 words we knew in the newspaper, did a 100 piece puzzle, and played a game where the winner was the first to reach 100. Lots of fun activities. We will continue our celebration on Monday.
