We celebrated our grandparents by inviting them into our room to watch what we do during our day in first grade. We read out loud to them and did a nice job using expression. We are learning about the exclamation point, the question mark, the comma, and the period. We read our stories really well. We sang a phonics song, a vowel and consonant song, and also the days of the week and months of the year songs. We played a Bingo game using our Reading vocabulary, and Fruit Loops as markers. Yum! We finished the special day by eating lunch with our grandparents and special friends.
