February 2nd was Groundhog day. We made groundhog ears to wear, and learned that a groundhog is a mammal. It is a rodent. We learned that a groundhogs incisor teeth continue growing throughout their life. Groundhog is another name for Woodchuck. How much wood could a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood? We found out what hibernate means... and that before coming out of his burrow, the groundhog goes into hibernation. We heard the groundhog saw his shadow. So there will be 6 more weeks of winter.
